Deliver breakfast at 9:00 a.m; deliver lunch at 11:30 a.m. You are welcome to stay to help serve and clean up. Can’t deliver it to Forest Lakes Park? Contact Judy Lindquist at [email protected] or 920-296-7228 and she will find someone to come to your house earlier in the day to pick up your prepared meal and deliver it to Forest Lakes Park.
# OF CHILDREN – 35-40 Forest Lakes Park Community Center has a refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, air fryer and microwave. If you need to transfer your meal to a heated appliance upon arrival, email Judy Lindquist at [email protected] or call 920-296-7228. We provide these condiments: mustard, ketchup, Ranch dressing, syrup, butter, and Hershey syrup
SUGGESTED KID-FRIENDLY MEALS Your meal should include an entrée, fruit and dessert. Please provide at least 35-40 servings. Children often want seconds; any leftovers are given to the children to take home as they struggle with food insecurity.
Breakfast Ideas: Cereal and milk, donuts, French toast sticks/sausages or bacon, pancakes(you can purchase 7 bags of 24 at any grocery store)/sausages or bacon; smoothies; milk or juice, fruit.
Lunch Ideas:
Grilled cheese sandwiches & chips or tater tots
Tacos with soft shells (or Doritos/Fritos for walking tacos), shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, salsa
Chicken nuggets with instant mashed potatoes & gravy
Sloppy Joes (made with Sony’s BBQ sauce or Sweet Baby Ray’s - more ketchup than sauce)
Corn dogs, tator tots
Slider sandwiches: Ham/cheese, turkey/cheese (if small, make sure each child can have two), (suggest making subs and cutting up into smaller servings using 2 lbs of turkey/ham and 50 slices American cheese)
Mac & Cheese (only use Kraft box Mac & Cheese) – 9 boxes
Pizza (11 large needed – cheese; pepperoni; sausage)
Spaghetti with meat sauce or meatballs (keep some plain)
Meatball subs
Publix fried chicken wings (3 boxes of 20)
Pizza bites or pockets (3 boxes of 20)
Desserts & Beverages Ideas:
Fruit (strawberries, grapes, watermelon, peeled Clementines)
